+HOW MUCH NOTICE IS REQUIRED TO BOOK MY WEDDING CAR?

Most couples will start looking for a car approximately 6 months before the wedding date. The sooner you start looking for your dream wedding car, the more choice you will have. We have taken quite a few booking for 2017 already! We recommend you reserve a car at least 1 year in advance. Not all cars are the same. There may be more than one Beauford in London… however each one is hand built and unique and can vary from the amazing to the sub standard.

 

+HOW LONG DO I BOOK THE CAR FOR?

We have vast experience in different cultural traditions and religious ceremonies and treat all weddings with this in mind. A Christian wedding will usually require 3 -4 hours for duration of hire, whereas a Hindi wedding may need between 6 – 10 hours. These are of course only 2 examples. Therefore it is advisable to contact us to enable us to provide you with an accurate costing of hire.

 

+HOW DO I BOOK MY WEDDING CAR?

Initially, you will contact us by email or phone to ensure your date is free for your selected choice of car. We will need date of hire, collection time, duration of hire and where the wedding will take place to enable us to provide you with a quote. You will need to fill out a booking form and pay a £100 deposit to secure the car booking. You may pay by cheque, cash or bank transfer. Once the booking form has been submitted and deposit has been paid, we will confirm booking by email.

 

+WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?

If you fancy settling the nerves with a glass of bubbly, this can be organised by prior arrangement.

We can also provide personalized number plates (for photo purpose only) and personalized ribbon at a small cost.

 

+WILL MY DRESS FIT IN THE CAR?

We have never had an instance where a bride’s dress has not been able to fit in one of the cars. Generally, it may take more effort than when getting in with your usual attire but done in the right way it becomes a much easier feat. Your chauffeur will help you in and out of the car and if rain blesses your day, he will have a suitable umbrella.

 

+WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF THE CAR BREAKS DOWN?

The cars are maintained to the highest standard and each car is checked and prepared before each booking so a breakdown is highly unlikely. The working fundamentals of a classic or vintage car are far more basic than the modern cars of today where it is almost impossible to repair a fault without the aid of a diagnostics computer. Therefore our drivers are trained to deal with most eventualities. In the unlikely event of a breakdown, we will endeavor to proceed with your booking smoothly, whether we remedy the fault or send an alternative vehicle.

 

+OUR CEREMONY AND RECEPTION ARE BOTH AT THE SAME PLACE. DO I REALLY NEED A WEDDING CAR?

It’s your big day…why not? You will need to get to your ceremony in style. The car will wait until the ceremony finishes for those all important photo shots of you and your wedding car. If you wish, the car can take you on a short drive to allow you to have some “alone time” with the love of your life.

+HOW FAR WILL THE VINTAGE/CLASSIC CARS TRAVEL?

We generally accept bookings within a 40 mile radius of our base in N12. The gentlemen usually ask top speed of the vintage cars…… top speeds vary between 50 mph to 70mph………….. but what’s the hurry! Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.
